High-quality filtration for effective odour control
The compact, high-performance filter unit in the Hygeolis odour-control air purifier has been specially designed to destroy odours. It consists of a bactericidal, virucidal and acaricidal filter (certified ISO 18184:2019 and NF G39-011) and an activated carbon filter.
The first filter is effective at capturing the macro-particles present in the air (hair, animal hair, dust, pollen, etc.). Thanks to its bactericidal, virucidal and acaricidal treatment, it’s effective against micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, dust mites, etc.). It’s also washable, so lasts longer.
The Very High Density activated carbon filter will eliminate stubborn odours (even impregnated textiles): cigarette odours, stale tobacco odours, body odours, etc. It will also absorb VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and gases: formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia vapours, bleach, etc. Finally, it will accelerate the process of ozone decomposition in the ambient air.
