Air purifiers Schools
Indoor air quality: a major health issue in schools, highschools and colleges
Air pollution is a public health issue. How can you effectively deal with the problem to ensure the well-being of the youngest children? Our professional air purifiers, CO2 and indoor air quality measurement devices, their associated services such as data processing or expert advice, help you to monitor and clean the indoor air in your establishment.
Your needs
Safeguarding the health of students,
teachers and non-teaching staff
Children and young people spend on average 90% of their time indoors (classrooms, homes, transport, sports halls, etc.). Indoor air can be eight to ten times more polluted than outdoor air.
Polluted air quality can cause many symptoms:
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Eye and mucous membranes irritation
- Difficulty concentrating
- Respiratory allergies
Protect your students, teachers and staff by measuring indoor air pollutants and taking the right steps to eliminate them.
Implement a sustainable approach to improve IAQ
Start a global approach to improve the indoor air quality of your facilities, in 3 simple steps:
- Measure (make visible the invisible) to identify and understand the sources of pollution and the priority areas.
- Adopt the right actions, raise awareness of IAQ among young people and develop an action plan for good indoor air quality (which may include, in addition to measuring devices, indoor air treatment systems such as professional air purifiers).
- Promote your school by communicating your approach to the public.
Increase the well-being
of students, faculty and staff
- Start an air quality improvement process and clean up the air in your school, college or high school, in order to welcome all pupils and students in the best conditions, including those who are particularly sensitive to air quality (allergic, asthmatic), both in the classrooms and in the canteens and refectories.
- Avoid the development of epidemics by measuring the concentration of bacteria, viruses (including respiratory viruses, including coronaviruses) and endocrine disruptors and adopt the right actions to remove them from indoor air.
- Provide clean air on a daily basis to improve the quality of life at work (QWL) of your staff, to improve staff retention and reduce sick days.
Promote your elementary school
or highschool
- As a responsible school principal, providing clean air for students will help reassure parents that their children are in a healthy environment every day, whilst promoting their ability to concentrate and learn
- The combination of NatéoSanté air purifiers and CO2 and IAQ displays will also increase awareness amongst children and students by providing an education about indoor air quality
- By eliminating unpleasant odours witout perfumes or chemical products (bathroom odours, body odours, kitchen odours, stale odours, paint), you eliminate olfactory pollution and enhance your establishment’s image thereby.
What are the sources of indoor air pollution in schools?
Indoor air in schools can contain many different pollutants:
- Carbon dioxide (CO2)
- Micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, mites, etc.),
- Chemical compounds and gas (formaldehyde, benzene, glues, paint, etc.)
- Fine particles (dust, pollen, PM1, PM2.5, PM10)
These pollutants generally come from building and decorative materials, furnishings (furniture), cleaning products, etc.
